Everlasting Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 unpeeled apples, cored and chopped fine
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. macaroni rings, cooked as directed and cooled
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 c. sugar, mixed with 2 Tbsp. flour
    juice of 2 lemons
    4 eggs, beaten
    fresh oranges and marshmallows (if desired)
Preparation
    Combine apples, drained pineapple and macaroni rings in a large bowl.
    Cook the lemon juice, beaten eggs and sugar mixture over low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until thick. Cool 10 minutes.
    Pour over ingredients.
    When ready to serve, fold in whipped cream.
