Easy Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 lb. roast
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. dry onion soup
    1/4 c. oil
    flour
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Flour on both sides and brown in oil in hot skillet on top of stove.
    After browning, put roast into roaster and cover with cream of mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix.
    Salt and pepper to taste and cover tightly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 30 minutes per pound.
    If desired, potatoes and carrots can be added to the roast the last hour of baking.
    Do not add water at any time.
    It makes its own gravy if kept tightly covered.
