Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 (3 oz.) box vanilla instant pudding
    1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping
Preparation
    Make cake according to package directions and bake.
    While cake bakes, combine pineapple and sugar.
    Bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes.
    When cake is done, remove from oven.
    Puncture holes all over cake with fork.
    Pour pineapple mixture over cake while hot.
    Let cake cool.
    Make pudding and spread over cooled cake. Frost with whipped topping.
