Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 yeast cakes or 2 pkg. dry yeast
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. warm milk
    6 to 8 c. flour
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    In a separate bowl combine yeast and warm water.
    Now in a large bowl place sugar, salt and warm milk.
    Stir in yeast and water mixture.
    Mix in shortening and eggs.
    Sift in 2 cups of flour and keep adding until a ball is formed and you can easily knead the dough with hands.
    Cover with towel and let rise until double in size, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours).
    Punch down dough when doubled in size; break off in roll size pieces and let rise again on a greased baking sheet.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until brown.
