Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 onion, chopped
    1 qt. half and half
    1 pt. milk
    Old Bay seasoning to taste
    1 lb. (or more) crabmeat
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/3 c. sherry
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick butter and saute onion.
    Set aside.
    In a large pan melt 1 tablespoon butter; add flour.
    Gradually add half and half to make white sauce.
    Add milk.
    Add sherry, crabmeat and onions.
    Cook all day until thick on low heat.
    Add Old Bay seasoning to taste just before serving.
