Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 c. thinly sliced cukes
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 large green pepper, diced
3 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. white vinegar
2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Scrub cucumbers; don't peel.
Put in a large bowl all the ingredients.
Stir to dissolve sugar.
Cover and refrigerate. Next day, mix thoroughly.
Pack in jars with some liquid.
Will keep up to 6 months refrigerated.
Makes approximately 5 pints.
