Filipino Strip Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. lemon juice
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/2 to 1 tsp. black pepper
2 lb. sirloin strips
2 medium onions, sliced
3 Tbsp. oil
1 to 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Mix soy, lemon and pepper.
Place sirloin strips in marinade and let set 2 to 3 hours.
Remove strips and drain, saving all liquid.
In hot pan or wok brown sirloin in oil and cook until done.
Remove and keep warm.
Saute onions until soft.
Return half the liquid to pan.
Take the other half and put in a jar.
Add cornstarch and vigorously shake until smooth.
Return to pan and simmer while stirring until thick.
Add meat to mixture.
Serve over rice.
