Creole Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 (16 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Cook bacon in large skillet until crispy. Remove bacon, reserving drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon and set aside.
