Angel Hash(Salad) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can crushed pineapple, drained (save)
    1 lb. can fruit cocktail, drained (save)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks, well beaten
    1 large Cool Whip
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Combine well beaten egg yolks with 1 cup syrup drained from fruits.
    Blend well.
    Add to cornstarch and sugar; mix well.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
    Cool thoroughly at room temperature.
    Fold in whipped topping, nuts, marshmallows and fruits.
    Chill overnight in refrigerator.
