Cheesecake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. flour
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. cream or milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar, nuts and flour.
    Stir in butter.
    Blend until light and crumbly. Remove 1 cup mixture for topping.
    Place remainder in an 8-inch square pan and press firmly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Beat cheese with sugar.
    Beat in egg, lemon juice, milk and vanilla.
    Pour onto baked crust.
    Top with reserved 1 cup topping mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 25 minutes. Cool before cutting.
    Makes about 24.
