Chicken Chow Mein - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. chicken, pork or beef, cut into bite size pieces
2 Tbsp. oil
6 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. water
stalk celery, chopped
1 can (10 oz.) water chestnuts
2 1/2 c. bean sprouts
1 can (2 oz.) mushrooms
1 onion, chopped
3/4 c. water with 3 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed together
Preparation

Brown meat in oil.
Add soy sauce and 1 cup water.
Simmer 2 minutes.
Add celery and onion.
Blend in water and cornstarch mixture into pan.
Add water chestnuts, sprouts and mushrooms. Heat thoroughly and season with salt and pepper.
Put in oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
