Grated Broccoli With Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    stems from 2 bunches broccoli (about 6 c. grated)
    2 oz. Parmesan cheese (2/3 c.), shredded
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    salt
    1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Peel and grate broccoli stems.
    Shred the cheese.
    Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
    Add grated broccoli stems and 3/4 teaspoon salt.
    Toss to coat.
    Cover, reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in red pepper flakes and cook 1 minute.
    Stir in Parmesan cheese and serve.
