Blueberry Tea Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. lemon peel, grated
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. fresh blueberries**
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan; set aside.
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, sour cream, lemon peel, vanilla, and nutmeg, beating until smooth. Gradually beat in dry ingredients until thoroughly blended.
Stir in walnuts.
Gently fold in blueberries.
Using spatula, gently spread the batter into the pan.
Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
(If top is getting too brown, cover with foil.)
Cool in pan on wire rack 15 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool completely.
