Irish Brown Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/4 c. whole wheat flour (prefer Stone Ground)
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. oats (not instant)
2 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
pinch of cream of tartar
1 oz. sugar (brown or white)
2 oz. butter or margarine
Preparation

Note:
To sour 2 1/2
cups milk, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar and let
stand
10 to 15 minutes until thickened and curdled.
