Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. lemon extract or almond extract
Preparation
    Do not preheat oven.
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Add dry ingredients and mix well.
    Add milk and extract.
    Starting with a cold oven, bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0 in tube pan.
    Cool 15 minutes before turning out of pan.
