Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Bring the molasses to boiling point.
    Remove from stove.
    Add the shortening and soda.
    Stir in the flour, baking powder, salt and ginger. Chill well.
    Roll over very thin. Cut into desired shapes.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
