Ingredients

1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 c. finely chopped pecans
powdered sugar
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar and vanilla.
Cream until fluffy. Add flour with salt and blend in mixture well.
Add pecans and continue mixing until well blended and holds together.
Shape into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes until begins to brown on bottom.
Do not brown completely.
Cool on paper towels and roll in powdered sugar. Store in container with tight lid.
