Chicken Papaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken (stewing or may use fryer)
    2 green papayas, cut into 1-inch cubes
    1 piece ginger (1-inch)
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. oil
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cut papaya and set aside.
    Cut chicken into 2-inch pieces. Peel and chop ginger and garlic.
    Add oil into frying pan and brown garlic; then add ginger and chicken.
    Saute for 20 minutes; add salt.
    Add 4 cups of water, boil and simmer until chicken is done, about 1/2 hour (1 to 1 1/2 hours if using stewing chicken).
    Add papaya and continue to cook for about 10 minutes.
    Serve hot.
