Pecan Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Chop pecans coarsely.
    Cream butter and shortening together. Beat in sugar.
    Stir in flour.
    Add vanilla and pecans.
    Mix well and drop by teaspoonful on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
