Garden Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 c. string beans (fresh, frozen or canned)
    3 medium carrots, sliced or cut into strips with potato peeler
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped (undrained)
    1 onion, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Pour 1 tablespoon melted butter into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Coat surface.
    Layer vegetables in dish.
    Add salt, pepper, sugar and cornstarch to tomatoes and pour over vegetables. Drizzle with 3 tablespoons melted butter.
    Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 10 servings.
