Saucy Brussels Sprouts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pints fresh Brussels sprouts
    1/2 C. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 C. milk
    1 C. sour cream
Preparation
    Wash and trim sprouts; cut large ones in half.
    In a saucepan, cook sprouts, covered with a small amount of water for 10 to 15 minutes, until tender.
    Drain.
    Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender.
    Stir in flour, brown sugar, salt and dry mustard until smooth.
    Gradually stir in milk.
    Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.
    Blend in sour cream and gently heat with Brussels sprouts added.
    Do not allow the sauce to boil again.
