Banana Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Pare large cucumbers; cut the long way.
    Using a teaspoon, cut out the seeds.
    Bring syrup to boil.
    Pack cucumbers into jars. Pour syrup over cucumbers.
    Cold pack for 10 minutes.
    Makes 3 quarts.
