Chicken Huntington - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lbs. chicken plus 1 1/2 tsp salt. (We use two cut up fryers)
    8 oz. package noodles
    1- 4 oz. jar diced pimiento, drained
    1- 16 oz. can English peas, drained
    1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
    1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix
    1 lb. grated mild cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Boil chicken 1 hour.
    Reserve broth.
    Skin and cut into bite size pieces.
    Cook noodles in broth.
    We save a cup of broth and dump in collander.
    Dump noodles back in pot and add all ingredients.
    Add some broth if it looks too dry.
    This will fill a 3 qt. casserole.
    Cook covered for 30 minutes at 325\u00b0 until bubbling.
    We check at 20 minutes and usually take off the foil for the last 10 minutes to boil off some of the liquid.
