Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    pineapple rings
    nutmeats
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a 9-inch pan.
    Add brown sugar; stir until melted.
    Place pineapple and nuts over butter and brown sugar mixture.
    Combine white sugar and egg, milk, vanilla, 2 tablespoons butter and shortening.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Pour over pineapple and brown sugar mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes; cool to lukewarm and turn out onto plate.
