Cucumber Appetizer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium cukes
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 medium onions
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Do not peel cukes.
    Score lengthwise with fork and slice them. Slice onions and separate into rings.
    Combine vinegar, sugar and salt in small pan and stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
    Bring mixture to boil.
    Pour over cukes and onions. Mix well and chill.
    These can be frozen.
    When defrosted, use within 1 week.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
