Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine, creamed
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. pear preserves, drained
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. maraschino cherries
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs, pears, cherries and nuts.
    Sift together 3 times the cinnamon, nutmeg and flour.
    Add to mixture alternately with buttermilk to which soda has been added.
    Pour in well-greased Bundt or angel food pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
