Spiced Pecans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. whole pecans
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except pecans, in a saucepan. Simmer until mixture \"spins a thread\" and is thick of consistency. Remove from heat. Add the pecans and stir quickly until the sugar crystallizes on the nuts. Break apart and allow to cool before storing in a container with a tight lid.
