Easy Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef top round steak (3/4-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. butter, divided
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 can mushroom pieces
Preparation
    In skillet, cook 1/2 of the beef, onions and mushrooms (until beef is no longer pink).
    Set aside.
    Repeat with other 1/2 of the beef, onions and mushrooms.
    Return mixture to skillet.
    Stir in soup and heat through, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
    Serve over cooked noodles.
