Easy Peachy Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. crushed corn-flavored cereal squares (Corn Chex)
    1/2 c. finely packed brown sugar
    pinch of ground nutmeg
    3 c. sliced cooked peaches
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
    1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy skillet.
    Add pecans; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until toasted.
    Stir in cereal crumbs, brown sugar and nutmeg.
    Press half of crumb mixture into 8-inch square baking pan.
    Put pan into freezer for 15 minutes.
