Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar gradually.
    Add one egg at a time, being sure to beat 3 minutes after each egg.
    Fold in flour and vanilla last.
    Bake in 1 large pan or 2 small loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes.
