Date Pudding(Recipe Is Over 150 Years Old.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    3 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. nuts
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. chopped dates
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Stir all well.
    Makes a stiff batter.
    Pour syrup into a 9 x 14-inch pan.
    Drop batter by large spoonfuls into the syrup.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until top is brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean (about 40 minutes).
