Artichoke Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans artichoke hearts
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    6 Tbsp. flour
    6 cans clear chicken broth
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. pepper and thyme
    1 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    2 c. half and half cream
Preparation
    Saute onions and celery in butter.
    Add flour.
    Cook a little, but add chicken broth, lemon juice, thyme, bay leaf and artichokes; salt and pepper.
    Cover.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add beaten egg and cream.
