Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. pecans
Preparation

Cream butter until soft; add vanilla.
Add sugar gradually, beating until light and fluffy.
Sift flour; measure, then sift again, this time with salt and gradually add to sugar mixture. Add pecans and mix well.
Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
