Cheddar Quick Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in cheese.
Add combined milk and egg; mix just until moistened.
Spoon into greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan.
