Ground Beef And Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/8 c. onion
    1/8 c. green pepper
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 can tomatoes
    1/4 c. brown Karo
    salt and pepper
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 c. tomato juice
    1 1/2 c. shell macaroni
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet.
    Add onion and green pepper; cook until tender.
    Add beef.
    Brown, stirring often.
    Pour out and save 1/8 cup liquid from tomatoes.
    Add rest of tomatoes, syrup, salt, pepper, chili powder and bay leaf to meat mixture.
    Bring to boil, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch with tomato juice. Stir into meat mixture.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add cooked macaroni. Pour into casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
