Peach Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. melted shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. flour
    1 c. diced peaches
    1 c. milk
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat eggs and milk together.
    Add shortening, sugar, salt, vanilla and lemon juice.
    Sift cinnamon, flour and baking powder. Fold in egg mixture until smooth.
    Fold in peaches.
    Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake in 450\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
