Curried Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. cilantro
    1 (16 oz.) can peeled, whole tomatoes
Preparation
    Saute onion with margarine in saucepan; add garlic, curry powder and cilantro.
    If needed, add small amount of vegetable oil to prevent scorching.
    Add tomatoes with all of the liquid and increase the heat to high.
    Bring just to a boil and reduce heat to simmer.
    Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Serve over rice or pasta.
