Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 Tbsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add the eggs, one at a time. Then add remaining ingredients.
    Knead dough on floured board. Cut with biscuit cutters.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 12 minutes.
