Lynn'S Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes, peeled, chunked and boiled until tender
    12 oz. pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 pkg. kielbasa sausage (hot or mild), chunked
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Slice onion and place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with butter and bake until butter melts.
    Fold in potatoes until well coated with butter.
    Add sausage and 1/2 of cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover with remaining cheese.
    Bake until cheese is \"gooey\".
