Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. onion
1 tsp. garlic
1 can tomato paste
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 bay leaf
1 lb. ground beef
2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes
1/4 c. parsley
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 can mushrooms (stems and pieces)
2 c. water
Preparation

In pot, cook meat and onion until brown.
Drain off excess fat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 3 hours or until thick.
