1 1/2 c. butter Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 c. crunchy peanut butter
3 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Beat eggs, Crisco, peanut butter and sugar until smooth.
Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder into peanut butter mixture.
Stir until all is blended well.
Stir in chocolate chips, drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes, or until softly brown.
