Quince Cordial - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. quince
    4 qt. water
    2 lb. sugar
    1 qt. peach brandy
Preparation
    Cut quinces in small pieces and cover them with 4 quarts water. Add 2 pounds of sugar and boil 15 minutes or until quinces are soft.
    Strain through a fine sieve or muslin bag twice.
    Add 1 quart peach brandy.
