Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    3 onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. bread, cubed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. parsley (optional)
Preparation
    Combine in saucepan the tomatoes, onions, brown sugar, butter, bread, salt, pepper and parsley and simmer slowly for 15 minutes. Use the bread for thickening; if more is needed, use it.
