Persimmon Cake(Lucille Ball) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. persimmon pulp
    2 c. walnut meats, chopped
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1 c. dates, cut fine
    rind of 1 orange, grated
    1 c. milk
    4 c. cake flour, sifted
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    4 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and butter.
    Mix together ingredients and bake in large loaf tins or 4 small ones at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
