Mom'S Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. diced raw meat (pork)
    2 c. sliced onions
    2 c. diced celery
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. bead molasses
    bean sprouts
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 lb. rice or chow mein noodles
Preparation
    Heat butter over medium flame.
    Add meat and brown well.
    Add onions, celery and mushrooms; brown slightly.
    Add juice drained from bean sprouts plus enough water to make 1 1/2 cups.
    Add salt and molasses.
    Reduce heat to very low until meat is tender.
    Add bean sprouts.
    Dissolve cornstarch in 1/3 cup water.
    Add soy sauce.
    Stir this into mixture.
    Cook about 7 minutes until thickened.
    Serve over rice or chow mein noodles.
