Spinach Appetizer Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Ricotta cheese
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 tsp. dried or fresh basil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 garlic cloves
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 (9 oz.) Green Giant frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimento, drained
Preparation
    In food processor, blend first 7 ingredients.
    Process until smooth.
    In bowl, combine with rest of the ingredients.
    Blend well!
    Grease a 9-inch spring-form pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes.
    Garnish top with fresh parsley snips and pimento. Serve warm with crackers.
    Makes 5 1/2 cups.
