Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter (room temperature)
1 egg and a pinch of salt
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Mix and spread with spatula to wafer thin thickness.
Pour egg white (unbeaten) on mixture.
Spread with fingers, pour off excess.
Sprinkle cup of pecans over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0; cut while hot.
