Arizona Chili Con Carne Y Frijoles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pinto beans
1 lb. stew beef
1 large onion
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes or 3 to 4 fresh tomatoes
3 to 4 cloves garlic
3 green chilies for a mild taste, 3 jalapenos for a medium taste and 3 Serranos or yellow chilies for a hot taste
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt (add to taste)
1/8 tsp. cilantro
1/4 tsp. cumin
just enough oil to brown beef
1/2 c. dry sherry
Preparation

Sort the beans, looking carefully for any stones or dirt clods and removing them.
Soak the beans!
This is the first and most important rule for good beans.
