Cherry Kuchen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or oleo
4 eggs
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Cream together oleo, eggs, sugar and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream the two mixtures together. It will be thick.
Grease a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Pour all but 1 cup of batter into cake pan.
Spread 1 can of cherry pie filling over batter.
Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over cherry topping.
Bake 40 minutes, or until tests done, at 350\u00b0.
