Pork Loin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 to 1/2 c. Kikkoman soy sauce
    1/2 to 1 c. water
    1/4 to 1/2 c. Mitsukan rice vinegar *
    small amount sugar (optional)
    1 c. water
    1 c. soy sauce
    3/4 c. sugar
    dash of sake
Preparation
    Dip pork loin in soy sauce and rub in with your hands.
    Brown meat lightly in a roasting pan.
    Boil sauce ingredients in a separate pan that is large enough to hold pork for further cooking after the browning process.
    After sauce comes to a boil, add meat and stir often to prevent scorching.
    Cook until transparent juices run from meat when testing fork is inserted.
    Remove meat and allow to cool before slicing.
    Allow remaining liquid to reduce in volume and thicken to be served as a sauce/gravy for pork loin.
